Who Should Consider A Work From Home Business?

There are different reasons why somebody may want to start a business of their own:

1:        Somebody Working Very Long Hours On Their Job And Doesn’t Have Time

The most common reason that a lot of people give for not wanting to start a Work From Home Business is the lack of time. To me, Lack Of Time  is the single most important reason why anybody should consider starting a work from home business. Why? Because a good work from home business will pay you RESIDUAL(PASSIVE) INCOME which your job will never pay you because as long as you continue working your job, you will NEVER have time. That is it for the next 40 years unless you create something that will pay you residual or passive income.

2:      Somebody Who Wants To Be In Control

If you want to be your own boss, control what you do, choose who you want to work with, be in charge of your Judith Moor

working hours and help other people the way you want as you go along, then a work from home business is what you should be looking at.

3:      Sales People

If you are in any type of sales, then I believe you should consider a Network Marketing Work From Home Business Model. Why? For a Number of Reasons:

  • Most people in sales get paid per sale made. They make a sale now and they get paid for that sale once and that is it, but the organisation they made the sale for gets paid for that sale over and over and over again. So in sales, you could be a hero for this month and if you make zero sales next month, you are quickly forgotten and the next person who made sales this month takes the glory. After a while sales becomes like a chore because you are not making any Residual Income From Your Sales, and over time, you become demotivated to hustle to bring in more sales. Fast Forward 10, 15, 20 years in sales without any residuals and see if you still want to hustle the way you are doing now. I met one of the sales guys in one of the offices around me yesterday and he said, ‘I am so bored because its the same thing on the phone day in day out, I want something more exciting’, and I just smiled. So wouldn’t it be cool if you are in sales and you get paid over and over again for a Single Sale you made? The Network Marketing Sales Model Will enable you do just that because if you made a sale today, so long as that sale is still in place, you get paid over and over again.
  • Sales People Understand You Get Paid Based On Performance. They Understand Why Investing In Your Business Is Important As They Already Know Sales Are Closed Over A Cup Of Coffee.
  • Sales People Talk to a lot of people who do not buy their product or service. Would it not be nice to have a cool alternative to offer the people who don’t buy your product or service but through whom you could still earn an income?

4:      All Small Business Owners

If You are running a small business for example, you are an events planner or run a cleaning company for example, you build a community around you as everybody in your team or the team you belong to wants to support each other. That is huge as it is free advertising and community support that you would otherwise not get.

If you run a restaurant or a hair saloon, you could be surprised at how much community support you get from your team members both above and below you. That is great free advertising which you will otherwise not have. The home Business Industry also teaches you a lot of skills you can apply in your business that you will otherwise not learn.

5:     Any Body Who Hates Their Job

If you hate your job, don’t be fooled by thinking that if you get another job with a different employer, you will be ok. Wrong. After a short time with your new employer, you will get the excitement for a few months and that same feeling you got in your stomach before you went searching for a new employer will return – why? because the employers are not the problem. The job is the problem and How Else Are You Going To get Out of That Job Unless You Create Another Source Of Income? Network Marketing Or Internet Marketing is the perfect place for you to start especially if you don’t have a huge amount of money to invest in your business.

Who Should Not Consider A Work From Home Business?

1:        Somebody who doesn’t like to work hard

Just like any other venture in live, hard work, dedication and commitment  is needed for making a home business a success. If you don’t like to work hard and put in the effort and commitment in your home business, don’t consider it.

2:        Somebody who doesn’t want to invest in themselves and learn the skills

Just like preparing for any other career like becoming an accountant, a medical doctor, a lawyer, requires education, learning the skills and practice, running a home business requires education, skills and practice too. If you are not someone who likes to invest in themselves, don’t consider a home business.

3:        Somebody who wants to get rich fast (Patience)

If you are looking for a get rich quick scheme, then a home business is not for you. Like any successful venture, succeeding in a home business takes some time. If you want to get rich today and now, then you have to look elsewhere.

Success In A Work From Home Businesss

The Main Point I am making here is that you keep your options open. Don’t close yourself up to a home business opportunity for any reason at all. If you want more, you must be open to looking at opportunities that provide more. We all know that nothing good comes easy and it all begins with an open mind. You could be surprised at how a home business may turn your circumstances around and change your life if you take a look with an open mind. Do some research and find people who will direct you to the right training and the best opportunities. An opportunity in line with your passion could be a good starting point.

great post Judith. all your points are spot on. however, i come across a lot of people who claim not to have enough time to run a home business and yet they are blind to the the fact that that is why they need to generate another source of income for time freedom. Sales people also happen to be in a very volatile environment and need to start thinking about plan b’s great points. i think any one considering or contemplating should actually read this post though.

Very well said Andy. No time is one of the biggest reasons to start a home business, unfortunately most people want an easy way out, unfortunately, there is none. Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate you.

Great post, Judith. Working from home will not suit everyone because everyone is not ready to do the hard work necessary to build that business. You clearly laid out who and who should not and why. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

Love this post Judith! You’re so on point with “if you hate your job”. So many people think if they get a new employer, their feelings will change. The excitement wears off after a while. Been there, done that!

Yes Demetri, unfortunately so many people think moving to the next job solves the issue but it doesn’t. Thank you for sharing your experience. Very helpful. I appreciate you.

[ Chuckles ] I love your second reason, “Someone who wants to be in control.”

This is a great peace on who should work from home.

Thank you Renard. Many people want to be in control but hang around employment. Control only really comes when you are working for yourself. Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate you.
